摘要

The operational amplifier, or op-amp, has traditionally been regarded as a universal building block for developing a wide spectrum of analogue circuits, including voltage, current and instrumentation amplifiers, integrators, differentiators, summers, impedance converters, capacitance multipliers and synthetic circuit components among many others. However, it has been also noted that the current conveyor (CC) is just as versatile a circuit, with gain bandwidth and slew rate effects easily outperforming that of the op-amp. In addition, unlike op-amps, CCs don't need component-matching, and their power consumption is much lower.
