Japanese researchers have increased the applicability of tiny RFID (radio frequency identification) modules by significantly reducing the thickness, making the range suitable for paper label inlays for mainstream retail applications.rnUsing its multi-layer ceramic technology expertise, the Japanese group have managed to embed all the necessary RF circuitry, including antenna filters, matching circuitry and protection, in the substrate.
