Top British honour for TCS CEO Ramadorai

S Ramadorai, chief executive and managing director of Tata Consultancy Services, has been honoured with a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to Indo-British economic relations. The CBE is conferred on individuals for exceptional contribution in their field. Under his leadership, TCS UK's estimated turnover has grown to over $1 billion, helping to create over 4,200 jobs in the UK.
