Tata Power to set up 3 MW solar PV unit

Tata Power said it is developing a 3 MW, Photo Voltaic (PV) based, grid connected solar plant at Mulshi, which would be the largest grid connected plant in Maharashtra. The unit, which will be the largest PV-based plant, will be commissioned by this year end.rnTata Power said the 12-acre site at Mulshi offered the advantage of ownership and manageability, besides ease of power evacuation.The company set up its first solar power plant of 100 kW in 1996 at Walwan in Lonavla.
