Biometric attendance system to the introduce in Punjab schools soon

Punjab Education Department will soon introduce biometric system of attendance by teachers in government schools. The step aims at checking absenteeism by government school teachers across the state.rnThe project is being introduced on experimental basis in around 100 schools in Bhatinda, Moga and Faridkot districts. Depending upon the success of the scheme, it will be later extended to all schools in the state.
