Room temperature CW tunable green upconversion holmium fibre laser

摘要

CW tunable green laser emission between 540 and 553 nm (/sup 5/S/sub 2/ to /sup 5/I/sub 8/) has been achieved in Ho/sup 3+/-doped fluorozirconate fibre by upconversion pumping at room temperature, with output powers in excess of 10 mW. Laser emissions at 0.75 mu m (/sup 5/S/sub 2/ to /sup 5/I/sub 7/) was also observed at the same excited level.
