Radiation characteristics of dipole-excited dielectric-disc antenna: application of field compensation theorem

摘要

An analytical expression to depict the radiation pattern of a thin dielectric-disc antenna excited by a half-wave dipole is derived using the Monteath field compensation theorem. Calculated results are compared with experimental data and with numerically computed values available elsewhere.
