Tunable DFB lasers with ultra-narrow spectral linewidth

A spectral linewidth of less than 98 kHz was achieved in three-section corrugation-pitch-modulated multiquantum-well distributed feedback (CPM-MQW-DFB) lasers over a tuning range of 1.3 nm, while maintaining a constant output power of 10 mW.
