Pilot-based channel identification: proposal for semi-blind identification of communication channels

摘要

A pilot-based channel identification scheme with a unimodal performance surface that guarantees its convergence to an unbiased estimate of the channel response is presented. A computationally efficient least squares implementation of the proposed scheme is then presented and its reliability is tested using computer simulations.
