10 and 20 Gbit/s clock recovery GaAs IC with 288/spl deg/ phase-shifting function

摘要

A 10 and 20 Gbit/s clock recovery IC with 180/spl deg/ switched and 288/spl deg/ continuously variable phase-shifting function has been realised using 0.2/0.3 /spl mu/m HEMT technology. The recovered clock signal has a time jitter of 2 ps at 10 GHz. The 2/spl times/1.5 mm/sup 2/ IC needs 300 mW DC power at -3.3 V supply.
