Description of FIR digital filters in the form of parallel connection of linear phase FIRs

The authors aim to show that FIR digital filters can be described in the form of parallel connection of linear phase FIR digital filters. This representation method may be applicable to FIR digital filter design problems, reducing it to linear phase FIR digital filter design problems.
