Error-free transmission through 30 cascaded optical cross-connects suitable for dynamically routed WDM networks

摘要

The concatenation performance of an optical cross-connect node performing reconfigurable wavelength routing utilising an arrayed waveguide grating and all-optical tuneable wavelength converters is presented. Error-free transmission after concatenation of 30 such nodes is demonstrated.
