Joint impulse response shortening for DMT transceivers

A new algorithm is proposed for joint impulse response shortening in full-duplex discrete multitone transceivers. In comparison with the previous approach, the proposed algorithm takes into account both the presence of noise and the flexibility of having different signaloise power distributions.
