4-PSK space-time trellis codes with five and six transmit antennas for slow Rayleigh fading channels

摘要

Novel space-time trellis codes for five and six transmit antennas which best satisfy an optimal design criteria for quasi-static flat fading channels are presented. The codes are constructed through a reduced code-search method, and their performance is evaluated in terms of frame error probabilities.
