摘要

A novel wide slot antenna with two strips within the circular slot is proposed, which achieves a wide impedance bandwidth of 2.2-11.5 GHz, enough to cover the ultra-wideband (UWB) frequency band ranging from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz defined by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). With the help of the two strips, the radiation pattern can be quite stable across the whole operating band. Moreover, the proposed antenna has a small size and high gain of 5 ± 2 dBi.
