摘要

A novel photonic crystal fibre is proposed and designed. For this fibre, the variation of its effective core area A_(eff) via wavelength can be designed to follow the track of its Raman gain coefficient g_R, so that a flat Raman gain efficiency r_R = g_R/A_(eff) is resulted. A fluctuation of less than 5.5% is obtained for r_R between 1565 and 1625 nm (L-band).
