One of the last British bi-planes to have seen active service, a Fairey Swordfish, is to undergo £1 m worth of specialist restoration by engineers at BAE Systems' Military Air Solutions facility at Brough, East Yorkshire.rnWork on the Swordfish Mk i, a torpedo bomber first flown in 1934, willrninclude repair of the tail plane, wings and surrounding support work in order to restore the aircraft to flying condition for the Royal Navy Historic Flight (RNHF).
