The solar Impulse solar-powered plane has successfully completed its first night flight, following a delay caused by problems with the telemetry module (E&T vol 5 #10).rnAndre Borschberg, CEO and co-founder of the company behind the project, piloted the HB-SIA aircraft for over 26 hours, from take-off early on 7 July to landing at 9am the following morning at the Payerne airbase in Switzerland.
