For years, engineers have used "point tools"―analysis tools aimed at a particular simulation type―to design RF circuits. Using single-function tools such as linear simulators, along with their limited expertise, they try to design state-of-the-art communications circuits. These tools may have been sufficient in the past, but times have changed.
