Additional Electro-Optical Systems Data

The following is a listing of additional electro-optical technologies that may bear further study in the near future. Many of these systems and programs are in various stages of study and development and may never progress beyond research. Other systems may have a limited production run for a specific military requirement and therefore are not worthy of production forecasts at this time. In some cases, the information presented herein is the most pertinent on a subject that is available through open sources. Items in this appendix that develop enough in size and scope to justify extended multiyear production or funding forecasts will be removed from the list and turned into full-fledged reports. Candidates for full reports would include some of the larger U.S. military programs for which R&D funding has already been scheduled for the next several years.
