1.U.S. Air Force's IR/EO Warning and Countermeasures effort develops techniques to counter threats from new missiles and their increasingly sophisticated sensors 2. Funding is provided for the program through the USAF's larger Electronic Combat Technology program 3. Based on the FY19 defense budget, funding will range from $4 to $6 million annually well into the next decade.
