Havells doubles its Cable and Wire manufacturing capacity

Havells India Limited, one of the leading cable & wire, electrical and power equipment manufacturing companies in India, has doubled the manufacturing capacity of its cable & wire segment at Alwar plant in Rajasthan. The plant, which is one of the most modern cable manufacturing plants in the country has increased its manufacturing capacity from 1200 crore per annum to 2400 crore per annum. Havells has invested around Rs 120 crore to modernize and expand the capacity of the plant. As part of the expansion, the total plant area has been increased to 90 acres from 45 acres. Company has expanded the whole range of LT, HT and EHV cables, which has been upgraded from 33 KV grade to 132 KV grade.
