Nuisance Tripping of Healthy Feeders during an Earth Fault on another Feeder

Though this article an effort is made to clarify the logic behind nuisance tripping electrical feeders which in turn lead to downtime of machineries to adversely affect the production. If earth fault relays are set appropriately, taking into consideration the quantum of charging current, the nuisance tripping can be tackled in effective way.
