What is the telecom enclosure? Do you remember? Here is a hint: It is bigger than a breadbox, but smaller than a telecom room. So much for the quiz game—I mentioned the performance standard being written for the telecom enclosure back in late 2003. The standards' people have just now published it as Clause 7.10 of the TIA 569-B document and as an Addendum (5) to the main cabling standard, TIA-568-B.1. This is where you can find minimum cabling standards for this "box" spelled out.
