Here lately, in this column and elsewhere in this magazine, mention of the Electrical Contracting Foundation has, for the most part, been in connection with its ongoing research into transmission and distribution work site shock protection. It is scarcely surprising that this study, dealing with life-and-death issues, attracts attention from across the electrical industry. But, I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression.
