Last month, I looked at the nema standards covering maintenance of commercial panelboards and promised to introduce NEMA's "Guidelines for Handling Water Damaged Electrical Equip-ment." Unlike the Flood Proofing Regulations of the Office of Chief En-gineers, United States Army, NEMA Guidelines don't presume that wiring may be intended for continuous submergence.
