Setting up 1,000-foot rolls of MC to spin is laborious and often not possible. I use 12-inch flat ball-bearing spinners for a Lazy Susan kitchen cabinet. They work great and save time, money and frustration. They're available at many hardware stores and sell for less than $10. They attach to the bottom of the spool with tech screws and can be reused.
