The Electrical Alliance TrainingrnCenter in Lanham, Maryland, jointly sponsored by NECA's Washington, D.C. Chapter and IBEW Local Union 26, is the site President Obama chose to announce that his administration is guaranteeing loans of $8.33 billion to build two new nuclear reactors, the first to be sited on American soil in nearly three decades. The president also discussed federal investment in green energy job training during his tour of the state-of-the-art facility.
