Second Successful NEC A Women's Peer Group Summit Addresses Key Topics

Taking Time Away From The Office and away from family isn't easy for any working woman, but members of NECA Women's Peer Group made the time to attend the group's second annual Summit in Pittsburgh. The NECA Women's Peer Group (NWPG) offers an open forum for women working in all aspects of the electrical construction industry. NWPG members come together to discuss the issues they face in a traditionally male-led industry and to facilitate mentoring relationships between emerging and established industry leaders. It was co-founded by sisters Rachel Barber and Tricia Ferry (both with VEC in Youngstown, Ohio) in 2009. NWPG membership is open to all women affiliated with NECA-member companies, chapters or labor-management cooperation committees.
