7th Annual Green Energy Challenge For NECA Student Teams To Focus On Resilency

The 2015 green energy challenge, sponsored by ELECTRI International-The Foundation for Electrical Construction, Inc. and NECA, is already underway, giving colleges and universities time to incorporate all or parts of the contesr into spring course assignments. This year's challenge will focus on the development of a back-up power system and resiliency plan for an existing facility with demonstrated critical power needs. Written proposals submitted by the student teams will be judged by an ELECTRI International jury to determine finalists. The three finalist teams will make oral presentations at NECA's Convention (October 3-6 in San Francisco) to determine the overall winner.
