The 3rd International Fuel Cell Conference, November 30th - December 3rd, 1999 in Nagoya, Japan

The 3rd International Fuel Cell Conference with its 600 participants from 16 countries served as a forum for information exchange among experts engaged in technological R&D, manufacturing and marketing of fuel cells and related technologies. Besides 94 oral presentations, a poster session and an exhibition took place. Of all places Nagoya was chosen by the Japanese organizing committee to host the conference as very near to the conference site the biggest presently operated demonstration project, a 1000 kW Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell (MCFC) is being tested (Fig. 1).
