Confidence intervals prediction for the short-term electrical load neural forecasting models

Neural networks and other statistical analysis tools deliver single point forecasts. In this paper possibilities of the enhancement of the neural model, to estimate also the confidence intervals for the obtained poredictions are discussed. Application of the investigated methodology to short term load forecasting gave positive and very promising results.%Neuronale Netze erstellen Einzelpunktprognosen, wobei sich diese Arbeit mit den Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten des neuronalen Modells befasst, um auch die Konfidenzintervalle für die erzielten Vorhersagen abzuschätzen. Die Anwendung der erforschten Methodik auf die Vorhersage kurzfristiger Belastungen ergab positive und vielversprechende Resultate.
