摘要

A short survey of basic methods for high voltage network reliability calculation and a comprehensive explanation for the reasons of uncertainties inherent in reliability evaluation results are given. Methods for the conversion of uncertain system reliability indices into crisp decision numbers are presented. These indices form a unique basis for the comparison of different plans for network extension and redesign.
