Wire Chopper Blade Sharpening Fixture

Please see the Summer issue for his Bio.rnIn order to reduce the maintenance costs for my Agie Progress wire EDM, I have designed an inexpensive fixture that allows me to re-grind the wire chopper blade. With the replacement cost of a new blade around $160.00, the ability to sharpen the blades can save significant money over the life of the machine. Fig #3 contains the dimensioned drawing for the fixture. Fig #4 depicts the fixture.
