Battery-free RFID switch is compatible with commercial EPC C1G2 readers

The X1GLADIO from Farsens S.L., San Sebastian, Spain, is a battery free RFID switch. These tags are compatible with commercial EPC C1G2 readers and communicate a unique ID and the associated switch status data without the need of battery supply on the sensor tags. The tag comes in a variety of antenna designs and sizes to adapt the performance to the required application. The reading distance for the battery-free pressure sensor tag is approximately 2.5 m (8 ft) and it can be embedded in a wide variety of materials such as plastics or concrete.
