Capacitor features low resistance, stable temperature characteristics

Murata Americas introduced its DMF Series, a high peak current electrical double-layer capacitor (EDLC). The newest EDLC offering from Murata also features low resistance (40 mΩ to 60 mΩ) and stable temperature characteristics, enabling it to be charged and dis- charged frequently over the operating range of -30℃ to +70℃. Initially, the DMF Series will be offered with 330 mF and 470 mF capacitance values to support various energy requirement demands. Package thickness ranges from 2.5 mm±0.2 mm to 3.2 mm±0.2 mm, and all products in the series provide an instantaneous maximum working voltage of 5.5 V.
