Laser diodes accommodate a wide variety of applications

Osi Laser Diode, Inc. (LDI) introduced a product family of high power monolithic stacl' pulsed laser diodes suitable for a wide variety of military/defense, industrial, automotive, an machine vision applications. Single and stack pulsed laser diodes are available up to 375W and fiber-coupled devices are available up to 188W. The new high reliability, high efficienc devices feature stable output from -40℃ to +85℃ for operation in extreme environments. The rise time is 1 nanosecond; the laser bean spread is 9 × 25°; and the duty cycle (DC) is 0.1 percent.
