Comprehensive geological and geophysical studies of the traces of strong earthquakes on Taimyr have been carried out, and seismic sources that were previously unknown have been revealed for the first time as part of the expedition of the Northern Fleet and the Russian Geographical Society. A fragment of the seismotectonic rupture of the right-lateral strike-slip morphology is found near Belukha Island on the northwestern coast of the Taimyr Peninsula. The rupture is also traced by means of satellite imagery on the neighboring islands. The estimations of the rupture parameters suggest that the source of repeated strong paleoearthquakes with intensity Io = 9-10 and magnitudes of 7.0-7.5 is located here.
