摘要

The Baltic (Fennoscandian) Shield is composed of the oldest Archean-Proterozoic crystalline rocks. It represents a test region favorable for the study of the deep structure and thermodynamic state of the Earth's interior. This is provided by its significant size (>1 000000 km~2) and high degree of exposure. This region is covered by seismic, gravimetric, magnetic, and electromagnetic sounding surveys. The state of its substrate is studied under typical and high thermodynamic parameters.
