Unique Polymineral Association of Co-Ni and Noble Metal Phases in Gabbro-Dolerite of the Dzhaltul Trap Intrusion (Siberian Platform)

Wide diversity of ore minerals of nonferrous and noble metals is observed in platinum deposits related to layered intrusions like Bushveld, Stillwater, Great Dyke, Sudbury, and others. On the Siberian Platform a wide spectrum of these minerals is established on ores of Pt-Cu-Ni-sulfide and Pt-low-sulfide deposits related to layered intrusions of the Norilsk type [1-3]. Trappean intrusions, which are derivates of tholeiite basaltic melts, usually do not contain high-nickel minerals and PGE.
