Main Regularities of Volume Seismotectonic Flow of Rocks in the Lithosphere of the Baikal Rift Zone

Investigation of seismotectonic displacements in the lithosphere of the Baikal Rift Zone (BRZ) in 1968-1994 based on the dynamic parameters of the sources of earthquakes with energetic class KP ≥ 7 allowed us to reveal the main regularities of volume flow of rocks in the region. Numerous weak earthquakes make the greatest contribution to the total displacements, while the maximum displacements of the geological material occur in the zones of long lasting aftershocks and swarm series of shocks.
