New Data on the Structure and History of Formation of the Conjunction Zone between the Middle Cretaceous Okhotsk-Koryak and Cenozoic Olyutor-Kamchatka Orogen Belts (Vatyn-Ukelayat Suture Zone)

Study of the zone of conjunction of orogenic belts is one of the problems of interpretation of the tectonic structure of regions [1]. Within East Asia, on the northwestern continental frame of the Pacific, the Vatyn-Vyvenka [2] (Lesnovskoe-Vyvenka) thrust [3], which separates orogenic belts of different ages, i.e., the Olyutor-Kamchatka belt adjacent to the Pacific and the Okhotsk-Koryak belt, is usually considered as a collision suture [1-5, etc.].
