MGC charter rates improved in September due to high spotdemand in the wake of the Saudi attack and as VLGCs were divertedto the US.2. MGC/LGC segments remain attractive for shipowners in theEuropean market albeit increase in trader relets will keep the ratesstable in October. These segments will improve in October-Novemberas more vessels become available. However, increased demand forMGC in Asia because of the attack on Saudi Arabia can attract vesselsfrom the West and will also arrest the weakness in charter rates.
