Come spesso accade ai concetti-container nell'epoca della comunicazione, anche il termine sostenibitità abbraccia un arco semantico ampio e vago, dissolto in una miriade di rivoli che toccano altrettanti aspetti della nostra sociosfera.rnLa cosa più ovvia da rilevare è che la sostenibilità viene evocata come key-issue in turiti i ragionamenti rivolti ai cambiamenti climatici e alle trasformazioni -in senso peggiorativo-nel sistema eco-ambientale. In questi casi, il concetto viene usato per esprimere l'insieme delle norme e dei dispositivi tecnici adottati da governi e istituzioni allo scopo di attenuare la nostra impronta ecologica sul pianeta.%As often happens to container-concepts in this period of communication, the term sustainability is another that embraces a broad and vague semantic arc, dissolved into myriad streams affecting as many aspects of our sociosphere. The most obvious thing to be noted is that sustainability is evoked as a key issue in all discussions about climate change and transformations - in a pejorative sense - within the eco-environmental system. In these cases, the concept is used to express the norms and technical devices adopted by governments and institutions to attenuate our ecological footprint on the planet.
