摘要

A festeggiare i 35 anni di Holzbau sono stati chiamati, quasi simbolicamente, tre rappresentanti di altrettanti mondi 'perimetrali' a quello celebrato: il progettista Shigeru Ban, Reinhold Messner, celebre scalatore ed esploratore, e Luis Durnwalder, Presidente della Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano. Alla loro presenza, l'appuntamento si è trasformato in un'occasione per ripercorrere il percorso di nascita e di evoluzione del legno lamellare. A illustrare le tappe, quattro progetti tanto diversi tra loro quanto accomunati dall'interazione con il materiale celebrato.%Holzbau celebrated its 35th birthday by, almost symbolically, inviting three representatives of as many worlds situated on the "perimeter" of its own: the architect Shigeru Ban, the famous climber and explorer Reinhold Messner, and Luis Durnwalder, President of the autonomous province of Bolzano. In their presence, the event turned into an opportunity to revisit the birth and evolution of lamellar wood. The milestones along the way were illustrated by four projects, as different from each other as they were similar in their interaction with the material in question.
