THE INTERACTION BETWEEN DESIGN AND MATERIAL, MEDIATED CRAFTING, CONSTITUTES THE CORE OF THE PRODUCTS BY BARAUSSE AT MADE EXPO

The recent edition of the MADE Expo saw the presentation of a number of new products from Barausse, ranging from Secret, a chameleon-like collection of disappearing doors, to Boiserie systems in wood. Three collections of top-of-the-range doors designed by Massimo losa Ghini were also presented. Different in terms of language but with a similar design approach, the first two - Art Nou-veau (featuring a floral decoration) and Materia (engraved with slight grooves) - transform the door panel into a pure surface for figurative or abstract expression. More classic in appearance, the Dolce Vita is perhaps the most original new product. In this range Massimo losa Ghini has provided his own interpretation of Tetrix~R - a line of doors with a patented modular panel - with a top-stitched leather finish. The result is a sophisticated blend of fashion and design.
