Conceptual and creative, ironic but also poetic, 5.5 designers from Paris (alias Claire Renard, Vincent Baranger, Anthony Lebosse and Jean-Sebastien Blanc) celebrate their five-(and-a-half-) year career at the Milan Furniture Fair with a birthday tea (on 23 April at 6pm). On show will be some of their most emblematic objects (one-off pieces, installations, prototypes in search of a producer, objects produced in limited editions, self-produced or simple experiments) presented in the form of a large cake. Like at every self-respecting birthday party, guests are invited to bring a present, which will be hung up and used to create an unusual wall of gifts.
