The Milan Triennale in New York

In mid-September, the Milan Triennale opens in New York at 40 West 53rd Street, housed in a flexible, 2,000-square-metre space, half of which will be used for exhibitions and the other half for a bookshop, restaurant and bar. The project, designed by Michele De Lucchi, Pierluigi Cerri and Alessandro Colombo in collaboration with the New York firm CUH2a, unfolds on three levels connected by a new, freestanding white steel staircase with a slender railing - a touch of Milanese design.
