Dopo le 'cose' di Serena Vestrucci e i disegni di Riccardo Andujar sono stati i dipinti di Thomas Braida ad abitare la vetrina che la trattoria Il Carpaccio mette a disposizione de Il Crepaccio, l'insolito quanto misterioso frammento d'arte che da metà maggio, ogni quindici giorni, anima via Lazzaro Palazzi 19 a Milano. Lo statement che accompagna tutti gli inviti alle inaugurazioni, via mail, parla di "anfratto nel sistema senza aspirazioni commerciali, ma con velleità esibizionistiche", o anche, più ironicamente, di "pura visibilità sull'orlo del baratro". Il Crepaccio è di fatto un micro-museo, libero e accessibile, pensato come risposta alla cronica carenza di vetrine per i giovani artisti. La formula è semplice, low-cost e ingegnosa, ed è aperta anche a designer, scrittori e creativi.%Following on from Serena Vestrucci's "things" and Riccardo Andujar's drawings, Thomas Braida's paintings have been installed in the window of the trattoria II Carpaccio. This unusual and mysterious fragment of art, known as II Crepaccio, has been livening up Via Lazzaro Palazzi 19 in Milan every 15 days since May. Invitations arrive by email and describe it as a "rift in the system with no commercial aspirations but with a vague ambition to exhibit", or more ironically "pure visibility on the edge of the abyss". II Crepaccio is a free and totally accessible micro-gallery, conceived as a response to the chronic lack of exhibition opportunities for young artists. The formula is simple, low-cost and ingenious and is also open to designers, writers and creative talents.
