LAMINATED STRUCTURE

Designed to be fully integrated in to the surrounding landscape, the buildings for the new Olgiata Sporting Club in Rome (architectural design: LAD) are structurally characterised by the large "boomerang"laminated beams. The roof is in titanium zinc with double seaming; the glazing is fixed to a steel structure that absorbs movement caused by thermal deformation.%Pensati per integrarsi al massimo nello spazio verde circostante, gli edifici del nuovo Olgiata Sporting Club a Roma (progetto architettonico: LAD) sono caratterizzati strutturalmente dalle grandi travi lamellari ra boomerang'. La copertura è di zinco Titanio a doppia aggraffatura; le vetrate sono ancorate a una retrostruttura d'acciaio che asso rbei movimenti di deformazione termica.
